|
|
|
Outlook is an integrated system which enables you to link Mail (email) with Calendar and Tasks - and track it all through Journal. How you can do this is all explained in the interactive learning presentation available through subscription. In summary, in Outlook 2003:- - Highlight and copy the e-mail associated with a Task (Edit, Copy or Ctrl-C)
- Click to Task and double-click to open it
- Paste the e-mail into the notes section of the Task window (Edit, Paste or Ctrl-V)
- Go back to Mail and delete the original e-mail
In Outlook 2007:- - Open the Task and click Insert, Attach Item
- Highlight the e-mail in the Inbox and click OK to attach as an item or as text
- Click on the Office button, Close and Yes to save changes
- Go back to Mail and delete the original e-mail
